The summary helps; the articles below are the actual terms.

Article I: The service

Shipped with Love gives you a website for the products you make, keeps it current from sources you connect, and lets people follow your launches. It’s run by Oddly Serious Inc., a company registered in Ontario, Canada (“we”). By creating an account you agree to these terms and to how we handle data, described in our privacy policy.

Article II: Your account

You sign in with a link we email you, a passkey, or an account you connect. Whoever controls that email address or device can get into your account, so keep them secure, and tell us at support@shippedwith.love straight away if you think someone else has.

You need to be at least 16 and able to agree to these terms where you live. You’re responsible for what happens in your account, including anything done by people you give access to.

Article III: Lifetime and Pro

Building and previewing your site is free; you pay when you publish, on one of two plans. Both carry every feature, with unlimited products and updates; they differ in how you pay and in the monthly allowances shown on the pricing page.

Lifetime is one payment, and you keep your plan for as long as Shipped with Love runs. “Lifetime” means the life of the service, not unlimited use: your plan includes the allowances shown when you bought it, and we won’t reduce them for you later.

Pro renews automatically every month or year, at the price shown when you subscribed, until you cancel. You can cancel any time from Settings; you keep Pro until the end of the period you’ve paid for, and it doesn’t renew after that. If we ever change Pro’s price, we’ll email you at least 30 days before it applies to you. If a renewal payment fails, you have 14 days to fix it before your site goes back to private; nothing is deleted.

Prices are in US dollars, and taxes are added at checkout where they apply. Payments are handled by Stripe — we never see your card number. Domain names aren’t included: you register and renew them with your own registrar.

Article IV: Refunds

Changed your mind? Email support@shippedwith.love within 14 days of buying Lifetime or of your first Pro payment, and we refund the full amount, no questions asked. Your site goes back to private, and everything you made stays in your account for you to export. Email credits can be refunded within 14 days of buying them, for the credits you haven’t used.

Pro renewals aren’t refunded — cancel before the next one instead. Otherwise, after 14 days payments aren’t refundable, except where the law says otherwise or as set out in Article XI. A chargeback is treated like a refund: the site goes back to private and nothing is deleted.

Article V: Allowances and fair use

Products, updates and history are unlimited. Email and AI cost us money with every use, so your plan comes with monthly allowances — for example, how many announcement emails you can send. They refill on the 1st of each month (UTC) and don’t roll over. One email to one person counts as one; sign-in and confirmation emails never count.

Need more? Email credits are prepaid, at the price shown before you buy, and they never expire. They’re used only once the month’s allowance has run out, and only for emails you approve. Without credits, a send that’s over your allowance simply waits — nothing is ever charged automatically. If your plan ends, unused credits stay in your account for when you come back.

Shipped with Love is for a maker’s website. If an account is used far beyond that — say, as file hosting or a bulk mailing service — we’ll get in touch before we do anything about it.

Article VI: Your content

You own what you write and upload. You give us permission to store, copy, display and send it only to run Shipped with Love for you — showing your pages, making share images and embeds, and delivering the emails you approve. That permission ends when you delete the content, apart from emails already sent and copies that briefly remain in backups.

Only publish what you have the right to: your own words and screenshots, logos you may use, and facts that are true. Information we read from sources you connect, like GitHub releases, is labelled with where it came from, and you decide what goes public.

Article VII: Your subscribers

People who follow you subscribe themselves, confirm by email, and choose what they want to hear about. We keep their addresses and deliver what you send. You see how many follow and a masked version of each address — never the full list, and there’s no export. That protects them, and the trust they place in you.

Send them only what they signed up for. Every email carries a one-click unsubscribe that works immediately. We send as Shipped with Love on your behalf and take care of the anti-spam basics — identifying the sender, consent records and unsubscribes; you’re responsible for what your emails say. We never sell or share subscribers’ addresses.

Article VIII: Using it well

Please don’t use Shipped with Love to:

  • break the law, or publish anything that infringes someone else’s rights;
  • send spam, phishing or malware, or pretend to be someone you aren’t;
  • make false claims about a product — invented numbers, customers or reviews;
  • harass people, or publish hateful content or any sexual content involving minors;
  • probe, overload or get around the limits and security of the service.

If something breaks these rules, we may hide it or pause the account. We’ll tell you why and give you a chance to fix it, unless it’s serious, illegal, or putting other people at risk.

Article IX: Coming-soon features

Features marked “coming soon” — like AI-drafted updates — aren’t part of what you buy today. We’ll tell you when they arrive and what they include; we don’t promise a date.

Article X: Availability and changes

We work hard to keep Shipped with Love running, but we can’t promise it will never be down. Services you connect, like GitHub, feeds or the App Store, can change or stop what they offer, and we can’t control that; if it affects you, we’ll say so plainly.

We’ll keep improving things and sometimes change how features work, but we won’t take away the core of what you paid for: your website, product pages, updates, subscribers and launch emails, within your allowances.

If we change these terms, the new version appears here with a new version number and date, and we email account holders before a significant change takes effect. If you don’t agree with a change, you can export your work and close your account.

Article XI: If we ever close

We don’t plan to. But if we ever decide to shut Shipped with Love down, we’ll email you at least 90 days before, keep your site online and export working until the end, and help you take your work elsewhere.

Article XII: Liability

We provide Shipped with Love as it is. As far as the law allows, we aren’t liable for indirect losses — like lost profits, revenue, data or goodwill — and our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us.

Nothing in these terms limits a responsibility that the law doesn’t let us limit.

Article XIII: Ending your account

You can delete your account at any time from Settings — export first if you want a copy. Deleting takes your site offline straight away, ends any Pro subscription without further charges, and removes your products, pages, uploads, subscribers and unused credits. We keep the record of your payments, with your name and email removed, for 7 years because tax law requires it.

We may pause or close an account that seriously or repeatedly breaks these terms. Unless the law stops us, we’ll tell you why and give you time to export your work.

Article XIV: Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. Nothing here removes rights you have under the consumer law where you live.

Article XV: Contact

Questions about these terms, your account or a refund: support@shippedwith.love. Anything about your data: privacy@shippedwith.love. Both reach a person.
